DEP Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 On organising the Hastings run, Directions were very good, no real dramas to speak of i think I think most people made it there and back today. Weather held out...just Thanks to Marc Stretton from Classic Ford And finally a special mention to Deltamal (Malcy) for driving all the way up from Plymouth, Well done that man, and good on those that travelled a fair distance

lotusless Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 thanks guys but the real credit goes to everyone that made the trip down in these credit crunch times, as allready said furthest travelled was deltamal but also sebringrs + his dad skippy from the midlands. there were members from all over really + it was really nice to meet new people + have a right laugh. a few people left early maybe because it was a bit chilly at times but i left at 4.20 + it was really warm + sunny then we had 52 cars at one point (even a mk2 fez snuck by me ) but 3 other cars came late + i didnt get to speak to them. thanks to all the admin/classic ford mag/ popeye/glenbo/100Edave for your help during the day i think i will sleep well tonight coz i'm shattered now!!........... love you guys

stuartp Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 had a lovely run down to hastings, wicked to see so many cars. unfortunately for me i had to leave early to go to ikea (fortunately for me traffic was so bad in croydon so we had to give up!) had a couple of car deciding to stop working issues on the way back but got home ok in the end roll on the next one!
