This is the last call for any more additions to this superb thread...! ANY MORE FOR ANY MORE...?!?!?!?!

I am just trying to drum up a bit of Granada love for the 40th anniversary meet I'm organising for the 12th of May (that's a Saturday) 2012... If you or anybody you know has a Granada let them know about this meet, it's going to be a corker...

That black Mk2 is pretty slick...! Why was/is it so high, is it on air suspension...?! Either way I like it and it's great to know another Granada is being well looked after...

There's one in pride of place at the Glasgow museum of transport, I took a pic when I was there week before last and had this thread in mind for it. I'll upload it when I'm home again.

Sorry, this is the only one I took. There was quite a bit of police history with it, including (as I recall) details of the main driver during its police use. The boot lid is open and the boot sealed with a clear perspex cover showing all the police kit mounted in the boot.

Now that is ace Vista, thanks a million...:thumbsup: I believe the same firm that are in the process of restoring the Consul GT from The Sweeney also have an old Police Consul GT that will be getting a good going over very soon...!!! I bet those old barges saw some abuse in the hands of the old bil'...
