I am just trying to drum up a bit of Granada love for the 40th anniversary meet I'm organising for the 12th of May (that's a Saturday) 2012... If you or anybody you know has a Granada let them know about this meet, it's going to be a corker...

Admin Vista Posted August 31, 2011 Admin Report Posted August 31, 2011 I would love to see some more Consul/Granada rozzer-mobiles, they look superb...!!! There's one in pride of place at the Glasgow museum of transport, I took a pic when I was there week before last and had this thread in mind for it. I'll upload it when I'm home again.
grifterkid Posted September 2, 2011 Author Report Posted September 2, 2011 Nice one Vista, I look forward to a bit of collar feeling Granada action...!!!
Admin Vista Posted September 2, 2011 Admin Report Posted September 2, 2011 Sorry, this is the only one I took. There was quite a bit of police history with it, including (as I recall) details of the main driver during its police use. The boot lid is open and the boot sealed with a clear perspex cover showing all the police kit mounted in the boot.
grifterkid Posted September 3, 2011 Author Report Posted September 3, 2011 Now that is ace Vista, thanks a million... I believe the same firm that are in the process of restoring the Consul GT from The Sweeney also have an old Police Consul GT that will be getting a good going over very soon...!!! I bet those old barges saw some abuse in the hands of the old bil'...
BaileyMex Posted September 3, 2011 Report Posted September 3, 2011 Love this, obviously being me, with it's belly scraping on the tarmac
grifterkid Posted September 3, 2011 Author Report Posted September 3, 2011 I must say although I favour the original look (factory fresh as it were!) a Granada does look good 'slammed'...!!!
