Iron Maiden, Led Zep, Deep Purple, AC/DC, ZZ Top, Sweet, Ozzy, Twisted Sister, Dio and most other old skool 70's and early 80's rock bands. Less keen on the ones that followed like Guns N Roses, Metallic & Mega Death though.

 

Favourite is an easy choice, Maiden (with the exception of the Blaze Bailey years)

Def Leppard, Thin Lizzy, AC/DC, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Alice in Chains, Bon Jovi. Just a few of the older stuff I like.

 

Some more modern stuff I like, Black Stone Cherry, Biffy Clyro, Papa Roach, My Chemical Romance, Disturbed.

Airbourne sound so much like AC/DC which aint a bad thing.

like most of the bands mentioned, best gig I have ever seen was zz top last year, cost £150 for 2 tickets, for a tiny gig in wolverhampton city hall. Got home to leeds at 2am and up for work at 6, but worth it

 

Love maiden, my sister its getting me tickets for their gig in newcastle arena next year, best seats and keys to the corporate bar, cant wait, seen them years ago

Dam it forgot all about Saxon !! 747 ( strangers in the nite ) Is one of the best rock songs going. Dont mind a bit of Garry moore and John squire ( ex stone roses) is well worth a listen.

I'm going to have to look into Biffy Clyro, despite not being an X - factor fan, I liked the song that won the show and liked the original even more when I looked for it on youtube.

Pink Floyd is always a fave. Genesis (the Peter Gabriel years). Led Zep. Uriah Heep. Marillion. Deep Purple and (In the words of the old K-Tel adverts) many many more!!!!
