antz Posted January 21, 2007 Author Report Posted January 21, 2007 it was fooking freezing! good job the pub was run by nice people (unlike the great western pub ). my car was actually filthy after the 2 hour drive there i just cant believe i forgot my own car i was gonna do it last but then the snow set in so i ran inside and forgot

IT WAS BLOODY FREEZING!!! didnt help that the pub that was originally gonna hold the meet told us to fook off! so we went 1/2 mile down the road and found this one which was way better
ZetecVan 2.0 Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 We were supposed to meet at the Great Western, but Andy was asked to move, by the landlord, because they were expecting a party, so he said 'Sod it, lets go down the road'. They were great. It was 11.15 and snowing, and they didn't open until 12, but they opened up for us and greeted us with open arms. Talking to the landlady later she said they have quite a few car meets there, and would quite happily have us arrange our future meets there, so we may just do that. Good to meet you all. I'll post my pics up soon. On the way back, a old asian guy wound his window down next to us at the lights and stuck his thumb up, and said 'Great van'. and told me to hold onto it,

I reckon "The Carrage House" will make a great spot for a regular meet 'cause itll suit the lads from manchester as well as us from yorkshire, and we got a really good welcome after been turned away from the pub up the road. Anyway some more pics of the same....
