lotusless Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 these odds + sods are taken from car+ car conversion mags from 1971, i did have them for sale in a binder but no takers so i took out all the good stuff + binned the rest. some of them are poor quality but some are ok, remember this was 1971 so the wording on some is wierd.. i hope they come out allright cause it took me ages to do this. anyway appologies if it comes out wrong

There was a load of adverts in them for brand new mk1 Escorts, and also car hire companies hiring out mk1 Escorts.

Love the pics of the works Capri four wheel drivers, you can't find much info on them nowadays as ford tried to forget them and cover up that excursion by writing the story of the Twin Cam Mk1 escort over the top, especially seeing Roger Clarke's with the Lucas injection stacks, thouh he said they were awful things. Supervan and the Broadspeed Mk1. Nice.
