campbell89_2 Posted October 11, 2011 Report Posted October 11, 2011 Hi Im new to this (old fords and forums) so this Im learning as I go. I've attached a pic of my 76 RS2000, I've had since march. The car was imported to the uk in the 80's, hence the registration.
2litreScapri Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 Very nice car, I thought that was unusual to see a MK2 or a Y plate. Do you know where it was in the first 4/5 years of its life?

Do you know where it was in the first 4/5 years of its life? not sure where it came from mate. The previous owner seemed to think malta or somewhere similar, which would make sense, the cars practically rust free, although Ireland is probably more likely. Anyway I'll have more pics up soon. Cheers for all the replies!

The Transplanter Posted November 4, 2011 Report Posted November 4, 2011 Looks nice & clean Have you thought about contacting Ford (if it bothers you) and get a letter from them confirming the date of production, and then re-register it on an age related plate. I have done this in the past on Alfa's & Fiat's as there was period in time that they just allocated it the plate of the day

Steve_26uk Posted January 8, 2012 Report Posted January 8, 2012 if its a 76 car its got the wrong grill, should be the early FORD lettering?
campbell89_2 Posted February 1, 2012 Author Report Posted February 1, 2012 it should do yeah, personally i prefer the badge grill though. It was on the car when it was bought and changing it is fairly far down my list of priorites.
