This may be a silly question but.....

I have been looking through different on line stores and trying to build in my mind what I think my 1974 Capri will look like once it is finished.

I think I have settled on keeping her all black with chrome accessories simple and stylish me thinks!

But I do like the look of some of the badges that were on the Mk 1 Capri, the silver XL with a wreath round it for example. Mine is also and XL, I would not use the GT badge as mine is not a GT. I do not want to pretend it is something it isn't.

Can I use these Mk 1 items on my Mk 2 car, or is this just not cricket?????

Ah good job!

I am really liking the 1600 sheid as well for the wings.

I just didn't want to get shot down and all that. As most of you say, I am sure there will be people will mention "that the wrong badge on that car" but I suppose half of us have the wrong engines as well....

How can it be wrong if it looks and goes so right!

I agree with whats said above and remember that its you who will be looking at it the most and if something annoys you about the car it will bug you until you change it so go with your instinct.
