mattsbmw Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 It was 25 years rolling not 30 Signed

MK2Ed Posted July 10, 2012 Report Posted July 10, 2012 Signed. Over a certain amount os signatures the government has to take it into account! So get signing. Restore a rolling 30 year-old exemption to VED, for classic vehicles Responsible department: Her Majesty's Treasury Re-introduce a 30 year rolling vehicle excise duty exemption scheme, for classic vehicles. For too long now the tax exemption of classic cars has been frozen, to only apply to those manufactured before 1973. History did not simply stop in 1972. These are not cars which are driven everyday but rather on sunny weekends, to attend enthusiast shows etc.. It is vitally important that we help to preserve this important part of British motoring history.
FredTransit Posted July 28, 2012 Report Posted July 28, 2012 I signed this ages ago, and notice it closes early next month!
Ratster VI Posted August 29, 2012 Report Posted August 29, 2012 How did you sign it today if it closed 3 weeks ago?
Admin Vista Posted August 29, 2012 Admin Report Posted August 29, 2012 How did you sign it today if it closed 3 weeks ago? There are usually a few similar ones running in parallel, for instance http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/37783 That whole petition thing is a waste of time anyway, how are MP's meant to take it seriously when people post up things like this http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/19853 or this http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/31726 And this guy is clearly taking too many of them! Decriminalise Magic Mushrooms?? http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/35545
GJUK Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 Wow I wish I'd found this earlier today. Some great content. http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/18874 to stop the hoilday companys taking your money on shut hotels and then send you to a different one and protecting the hoilday regulations
GJUK Posted October 2, 2012 Report Posted October 2, 2012 and http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/18458 An excessive dairy intake is one of the main causes of obesity and heart disease, and consequently puts a substantial strain on NHS resources. Whilst I don't agree with the idea of a nanny state, there are unfortunately many people who cannot make informed choices for the benefit of their health and one of the main habits is the consumption of full-fat milk, when healthier options are available. The government should set a date after which semi skimmed (which contains half the fat of whole milk) would be the fattiest available. In the long term this could save many lives and take a huge burden off the NHS. Wow. Just, wow.

morcheen Posted January 28, 2013 Report Posted January 28, 2013 just heard that the low emission cars like the prius etc might now have to pay the congestion charge in london.so after telling people to buys these cars they now change the King rules.politicians all the same just want your cash .i can't ever see the free tax being extended more likely to go the other way
johnnyspencer Posted January 28, 2013 Report Posted January 28, 2013 dont worry about it, in 30 years time we will all be floating about on apple ibusses that run on fart power and the car will just be a rich mans toy. by that time there will be a massive fart tax though!
