Theres a guy opposite from us that parks opposite our dropped curb, he has a drive, in fact he has two drives as he uses the old dears drive next door to him as she doest drive. But he still insists on parking there during the day, pure lazy'ness, because he cant be arsed to keep getting it out the drive. I wouldnt mind but he only goes out three times a day, morning to go and take the dog to the woods, sainsburys and then the woods again in the evening (we suspect he's down there with the late night rendevous):wink::lol:

But yeah, then has the cheek to get the arse about the time we had 7 cars on the drive :mrgreen:

my girlfriend used to get this alot at her place. there is a dentist surgery and a community centre near by so people would park over her drive. its beter now that i put up a couple of sighn telling people not to park there. occasionally still do but i have been known aswell to *ahem* move the cars out of the way myself. i did have a quiet word with one fella a couple of years back and told him that i do know of a bloke with a truck that will pick up his car and dump it on double yellow lines in central Brighton if he parks over the drive again. havnt seen this bloke or his car since. funnily enough :D

if my wife was not in i would off wrapped the chains under the front of it and dumped it on a roundabout her reason for parking there was she was late for the school play.

i personally dont have any issues with people parking over the front of my drive as i live in a cul-de-sac :) if i did tho, id look at getting some of them wheel dolly things that u put under the wheels and then jack the car up, move it down the road and dump it somewhere :)

The guy accross the road from my old house used to park opposite my drive all the time, i kept asking him polity to move, it was hard to get in & out being a narrow road, but he took no notice, then one morning he came out and found the side of his car damaged,a Police car on blues came flying down the road and took the side of his car out as he was blocking the road, they came and knocked on my door thinking it was my car when i told them whose it was they went and had a word, telling him he had a big enough drive ( fitted 5 cars) and he should use it unless he wanted it to happen again

I never had a problem again.

I've got room for 5 cars in my drive

But I still park in front if my house so nobody else can (next dr is a trader and left an old pug there for 4 months cos it had tax before scrapping it)

An it also slows the bar stewards down dropping there kids of at the bottom of my at for school.

Used to have someone park opposite my garage in the back lane where I used to live, he kept on getting flat tyres so started parking in the road round the corner!

I live near a school in a cul de sac and always have issues with people parking in front of our gates, i followed a doris home one afternoon to have her park right across the drive and when she got out of the car she said i will only be 10 minutes!! I kindly said to her that if she did leave it there it would probably be gone when she came back!! This was met with a lot of colourful language and harsh use of the engine revs and clutch until it was free of my drive. Pleasant  Signs dont work either :(
