Thoughts on the sun strip

Put it on the car, took me ages. It's great for keeping the sun out of my eyes (the sun visors don't fit anymore thanks to the cage, so it is 'required' (not just to look chavvy))

 

 

What do you think?

Looks good! do the windscreen wipers miss it? a jobsworth MOT inspector could fail it on that, my son's Orion failed on that a few years ago....

i like it mate. i put one on my escort for exactly the same reason

oh and ive got a friendly mot tester aswell

Love the car mate but not for me I'm afraid.

 

I've seen people that have a universal type one that bolts to the roll cage hoop above your head but it wasn't a full blown sunviser it was about half the size

Simply re do it on the inside, wont stand out as much and will have a glass like look to it too

I quite like it, been tempted to put one on mine, my dads got one for the same reason as you, the cage sits low so it 1) looks shit from the outside, and 2) because the shades dont work, so that acts as one

i use sunstrips for the same reason in the past i have used shorter blades or even trimmed the wiperblades to miss the strip next time i fit a sunstrip to the mk1 when its done i will be temped to fit a blue seethrough tint one like i had on the mk2 not quite so in your face liking the idea of putting it on the inside to hide it a bit

I like it and its there for a purpose, the question is, if you like it? all that matters.
