capriaddict Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 A good start would be does it have black and gold 4 spoke alloys, black interior with gold cloth inserts in the seats. Can you open the bonnet? if yes there should be a plate on the right hand side of the slam panel with J.P. SPECIAL stamped on it. The next clue is on the reg doc's but i guess you cant see them at the moment. Will try to post some pics for you later Hope that helps. Even if its not a JPS but is in fairly good condition it would be worth saving as mk2 S capri's are getting fairly rare aswell.
Admin Vista Posted January 30, 2007 Admin Report Posted January 30, 2007 Staying with the wheels, they're very similar to mk1 RS Escort 4 spokes, 5 1/2 J x 13" but have the part number H71AB-1007-AC-C on the face of one of the spokes.
