Kevin Mk2 Posted July 4, 2013 Report Posted July 4, 2013 Front: Fitted front struts, callipers and new track rod ends. Filled gear oil, changed engine oil and filter. (Had her running for a second with only the exhaust manifold on, bet the neighbours love me) Rear: Fitted new 1" lowering blocks, and polyurethane bush kit. The only problem I ran into was the new rear shackle bushes were 2mm I.D. too narrow, and I couldn't for the life of me force the bolts through, so I'm running with the old ones for now.
2litreScapri Posted July 4, 2013 Report Posted July 4, 2013 Killed it. Seemingly, after a head rebuild the bottom end decided to reject it after 1000 miles & now there's a ton of blue smoke billowing out the back burning oil like buggery. Bottom end rebuild now......
