I suppose i'd better try and make the car nice and shiny for the Ford Fair, any recommendations for products, can't say i've ever been much of a detailer. I've noticed people seem to have engine bays as clean as the body work, any tips on this.........

I think a good muslin ( not sure if thats spelled right) cloth or polishing cloth and a good polish is effective.<br />Others will have different opinions.

Mark it's a white fibre polishing cloth used by some paint sprayers ... it may be called something else but that's what I know it as ... comes in rolls double layer soft white with holes in it ...

What I tend to think when I see a lifted bonnet that is immaculately clean and polished underneath it is "Nice, but here's someone who spends too much time cleaning his car and not enough driving it"

Give it a wipe over sure but unless you're entering a "look I'm so anal I've even cleaned inside my exhaust" competition, then don't worry about it too much

Whilst i agree with you to some extent Vista ,there are also some people on OSF who "waste" enormous amounts of time on this forum that could be spent working on their cars . :smilieguys: :smilieguys:
