Andy44Boz Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 It would seem everything stops the first of August down in the Westcountry. This month has soooooooo many events on, that its impossible to attend many, the 14th alone has 4 southwest of Exeter, including 2 classic/vintage/steam shows, msa hillclimb and a ford pub meet. Perhaps we could extend July a bit into the next month, as then my calendar seems rather quiet!
mexicansteve Posted July 5, 2013 Report Posted July 5, 2013 I agree. Mainly seeing as I'm working all of July now. I have a whole week and a half off in August. Was quite looking forward to Powderham as it's really close to me for once.
Admin Mk2Jo Posted July 10, 2013 Admin Report Posted July 10, 2013 I am holidaying in Cornwall at the end of Aug so let me know if you hear of anything then
deltamal Posted July 11, 2013 Report Posted July 11, 2013 A few locals to check out, some have to be pre booked, but the smaller shows are usually turn up on the day, 20-21 July, Boconnoc steam and classic show, Middle Taphouse, Cornwall, pre book, but a good one to visit! 28 July, Totnes & district show, 2-4 August, Torbay steam, 2-4 August Castle hill car festival, Barnstable, 4 August Mount Edgecombe American and classic car show, 10-11 August South Hams vintage machinery club rally, 17 August Christow show 26 August Aveton Gifford classic car show A good site to keep up with local car evente is 'The Torbay Old Wheels club' the site has links to the events.
Admin Vista Posted July 11, 2013 Admin Report Posted July 11, 2013 I also fancy the Castle hill festival on August 3rd / 4th http://www.castlehillcarfestival.co.uk/
