john_3.0s Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 dont read or buy any on a regular basis im afraid. Used to get classic ford for about 5 years but to be honest just found most of it to be repeats on a similar thing, cosie mk2 escort, mint mk1 lotus cortina etc etc ok I'll never get bored of the cars but I dont really need to shell out almost a fiver a time to look at them. Prefer to save my cash and spend it at ford fair / ebay on the real deal if you know what i mean.
ZetecVan 2.0 Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Wouldn't it be great though if you could hear and see the cars bezzing around instead of just static photos...?
4parajon Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Wouldn't it be great though if you could hear and see the cars bezzing around instead of just static photos...? Thats why I come on here, most of the cars featured are either on here or Turbosport so you get to see a lot more of the build up/restoration and sometimes videos. Dare I say that I think this format (online) will eventually replace the mags, if for no other reason than what I have already said. Oh, I subscribe to CF & currently buy RF from the shop (subscription is on the cards though if your readin this fella's )
RedditchJay Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Subcribed to CF thanks to the wife at xmas, sometimes buy Retro ford but not often. CF for me is the dogs bits................
petrolhead01 Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 subscribe to retro ford(thanks morley) and classic ford from the sweet shop!!!
MK II Mark Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 I get CF and RF from the shop every month, this missus loves the stacks of mags everywhere cos I won't let her throw them out...
Admin Vista Posted February 15, 2007 Admin Report Posted February 15, 2007 I buy sporadically rather than regularly and feel no particular allegiance nor have any great preference for either CF or RF. I enjoy both when I get them though RF is still harder to find across the counter. Sometimes I'll scan them in WHsmiths and buy if I see an article that grabs my attention. Sometimes I'll grab it and run if I have a plane or train to catch.
Slik 50 Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 The only mags I subscribe to is minitruckin from the states as I find that they are further ahead than europe in the customising stakes and there how to teckspecs are a lot more intresting than just "How to fit an oil cooler" ect. its more like " How to fit a 2005 silvarado front end to you 1992 S-10" or "How to fit airbag suspension in a weekend" UK mags just dont cut it for me as they all seem a bit lame. Dont get me wrong the cars are nice but any one can go out with a wad full of cash and buy the entire burton cataloge and bolt it to there car that they have just paid someone else a fourtune to weld and paint and it is in every scene across europe wether it be fiberglass bodykitted saxo's or classic e-type jags. Plus I think there is a massive lack of 4I's featured in mags
tazrocks88 Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 i subscribe 2 topgear and buy either cf or rf depending on wats in it at the time!!!
bomber1 Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 rf i buy each month from the shops cf i got a rolling subsciption
