colr6 Posted September 13, 2015 Report Posted September 13, 2015 All started on Thursday night when after my apparently new found fame of joining the OSF CULT club and appearing in two magazines I got a phone cal to see if I would accept a lost animal. Me been of kind nature accepted, Friday morn who appears at my door but KERMIT of PeteRS8084 fame a fellow member of OSF. ...Kermit then tells me the tale of how his owner PeteRS8084 had left him at home whilst he went sunning himself somewhere exotic, just after He and miss Piggy had parted waves. What sort of a master is that? So I said I would take him to Ford Fest to see what we could do! Kermit insisted on sitting on the approach road to santa pod awaiting his masters arrival, but to no avail he did not turn up.?...So we took him round to have a look at a few things to take his mind off it. First thing he spotted was a pair of carbs and blurted out want some of those! .....so after dragging him off those he then lept under another bonnet, what's these Col he asked- two cams I replied, Pete want two of these you know. .....I'm not used to seeing all these things I'm normally tie wrapped to the rear window day in and day out. Anyway getting fed up of being recognised we proceeded to the OSF stand, spoke to Mr.and Mrs smokem to see if we could get a disguise, but to no avail nothing to fit apart from the key fob.after flirting with Mrs smoke em we had to leave. So sat him in my car for him to cool down, He said your not going to tie wrap me to the rear window are you? I wouldn't do that it's cruel mate. Kermit had obviously forgotten all about Miss Piggy and peteRS8084 when two young ladies appeared hanging round him like flies round s---t....didn't take him long After dragging him off the ladies we proceeded to bring him home where once again on the top with another beer! ....So Kermit has lead a sheltered life cruelly tie wrapped to the rear window. So what do we do to his master?report him to the rspca?eject him from OSF. What would you do in this situation ? All replies on your suggestions to PeteRS8084 via the forum many thanks. A concerned animal lover (well some) 10
classicwhitey Posted September 13, 2015 Report Posted September 13, 2015 thats brilliant, never sore you there but made me laugh reading this. like the pic on the approach road 1
PeteRS8084 Posted September 13, 2015 Report Posted September 13, 2015 How dare you take kermits (kermita) sister to the pod, not sure about her sexuality what with her hanging out with Mrs smokem, and those 2 scantily clad young ladies. Very funny, and sorry I could not get over my jet lag, shopping, washing and ironing to make an appearance with the real kermit. Who due to his wandering tendencies has to be zip tied to the heated rear window connections in my car. He said he prefers it that way. Colin your a funny funny man, and your kermita was right I would love some twin carbs, and a cosworth conversion would hit the spot. But due to our need for exotic travel this will doubtfully never happen, but a man can dream! Another class post from an osf cult, well it sounds like cult! Cheers mate, hope you all had a hoot. 2
colr6 Posted September 13, 2015 Author Report Posted September 13, 2015 As always Pete coming up with excuses. Don't try passing it off as kermits sister we all know he DOES NOT have one! Kermit had a great day but wants his freedom to Roam the fields. Please can you forward an address to return him as he has drunk all my beer of which I was saving for Christmas, and his breath smells 2
SmokeEm Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 thats brilliant, never sore you there but made me laugh reading this. like the pic on the approach road Was good to finally meet you yesterday. Shame we didn't get another chance to chat How was she running yesterday? I didn't see any of the racing so am out of touch lol
khanlad Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 Cable tied to the back window? Jesus christ pete, this is the United Kingdom not a detention centre on git mo! Free the frog! Free the frog! 1
colr6 Posted September 14, 2015 Author Report Posted September 14, 2015 We should start a movement of FREE THE FROG...
PeteRS8084 Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 Well I did see another green animal on my travels, but I reckon it would be a bit too bitey for zip tieing to the back window. Plus if it got loose god knows what it would do to my kermit! Who was in luxury frog ponds for the duration of my travels!
PeteRS8084 Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 Oh and one final purchase, my wife's idea. But I reckon it looks too much like Colin for my car! Tommy the turtle 1
Admin Vista Posted September 14, 2015 Admin Report Posted September 14, 2015 Plus if it got loose god knows what it would do to my kermit! 20150913_225315.jpg probably hump it! 2
colr6 Posted September 14, 2015 Author Report Posted September 14, 2015 At least the turtle has some relevance to your car ITS SLOW only having one cam and one carb!! 1
PeteRS8084 Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 It's a turtle! Albeit a cuddly furry one, so no engine and defiantly no carbs or cams!
colr6 Posted September 14, 2015 Author Report Posted September 14, 2015 There's a name for people who collect cuddly toys and can I hell like remember the name for them!
PeteRS8084 Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 I'm sure you will remember it.........but remember you have a cuddly toy too
PeteRS8084 Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 Or wives who buy them for their loving husbands
colr6 Posted September 14, 2015 Author Report Posted September 14, 2015 Stop passing the buck over to Di. 1
colr6 Posted September 14, 2015 Author Report Posted September 14, 2015 Just to let you know Pete, found Kermit in the garage tonight still being loyal to his master, trying to sabotage the angle box so I'm sorry to have tell you I took him to a local public park and threw him in the pond 1
PeteRS8084 Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 You threw your kermita into a pond, disgraceful actions............and I get jip for zip tying my kermit onto the top of my back seat, because it's a 70s car with out rear seat belts. Health and safety people.
classicwhitey Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 Just to let you know Pete, found Kermit in the garage tonight still being loyal to his master, trying to sabotage the angle boximage.jpg so I'm sorry to have tell you I took him to a local public park and threw him in the pond looks like he is having his nuts sucked into the carbs! no wonder he has that look on his face 1
colr6 Posted September 15, 2015 Author Report Posted September 15, 2015 Seemed like the best option.......return him from whence he came (it was Amazon really but they don't accept returns) haha 1
