So your an all black leather man then!

I'm not answering that. Pete I'm not anti biker, honest. Packed up now but rode for years.

Absolutely!

My sister used to be a nurse and would tell me stories of patients who didn't bother putting their leathers on cos they were 'only popping to the shops'......came into A &E with their arse grated OFF

0.7 seconds sliding on the road to wear jeans through compared to 7 seconds for bike leathers is what I was told by my old instructor!

I'd never go out without them!

We have the let's go for a blast on a Sunday brigade here, in tea shirts and shorts! Usually with their Doris on the back with the same state of undress. But they are not British bikers. I remember seeing a bloke come of an old rd350 on pier hill in Southend, when you could ride down it, it was a hot summer day and he was in shorts and wait for it.....flip flops, he came a cropper doing 30 ish, I can still remember the screams, he was trashed.....elbows, knees, ankles, feet, hands and back.........It looked like someone had spread raspberry jam down the road!

It's leathers for me, if al, a bit sensibly coloured.........even when I lived in Cyprus and 35 to 40 degree summer heat!

It's only the mid life crisis brigade that can afford old fords!

I owned my first Old Skool Ford at 15, apart from a few years in the late 80's and a 10 month gap in 2003, I've owned one ever since. Guess I must have started my mid life crisis early......................thank God as I wouldn't want to pay what they sell for now
