Since F1 is getting sooooo boring now with silly rules and electronic failures, tyre conservation, penalties for taking chances etc etc I've being tuning into Moto GP ......WOW, I can't believe I've been missing it! !

1st class balls out racing, excitement from start to finish, especially Sundays Philip Island race

Bye bye F1

Anyone else follow it?

You may be surprised by me n Wifey plan our whole lives around both Moto Gp and also Speedway GP's. We plan like months in advance our weekends around watching both at a time that suits us!

Have a look for the film "Closer to the Edge". Follows a couple of TT Racers to the Isle of Man. Guy Martin being one of them.

Really good film.

Yeh I saw that...those nutters are on a complete different level....suicidal.

The on board videos (with Michael Dunlop iirc) are crazy fast, one tiny error and it's goodnight!

I reckon I could have had them back in the day on my Fizzy. I had a Fresco on that and bent me reed stops back see... :-)

There's far less action in Superbikes imo.

The pace, the amount of overtaking, the close fight for the championship. ........brilliant!

I hope Rossi gets it this year to make it his 10th title but with Lorenzo and Marques so close........even Iannone and Pedrosa are potential condenders

I used to ride fast bikes - a ZZR1100 was the fastest I had and to be honest I didn't worry about death at all. I did worry about serious injury, so in a crazy mixed up way there was an incentive to ride faster. Though I was young and foolish. :)

I had a zx6r (in the late 90's) and used to commute daily into London on it. Great fun, boring job but man did we have fun on the commute. All the bikes would always gather at the front of the traffic lights and all blast off together, in and out of traffic etc

Looking back I was a bit of a silly nuts on it and would never have another now I've got a wife and kids!

Maybe a Harley one day though, it's an itch that might need scratching!

Loving the moto gp, moto 3 and bsb. Fingers crossed for Kent and Rossi, and hopefully Lowes will produce in 2016. Makes f1 look positively dull.

Wsb has gone down hill a little the last few years, rea or sykes seem to get out front and clear off, go back a few years to bayliss, edwards and haga, superb. British is full on again, always action in that, brookes has been clearing off, but behind him, non stop action, but yeah moto gp is the one at the minute, come on rossi!! I was at brands a few years ago, haga was on an aprillia, slowing down lap came onto surtees, hooiked a massive one handed wheelie up the hill, waving at the crowd as he did it, absolutely superb!

Still ride a stage 2 fazer 1000 most days! Can't beat blowing the cobwebs away. Just have to have eyes all over to avoid the tools who can't be bothered to use the big shiny mirrors on their cars, trucks and coaches! Still makes for some interesting gestures and arguments!

Used to go to Thruxton a lot to watch the British superbikes, mental. But not as nuts as truck racing on the fastest track in the UK!

Is it me or some of the rides now complete plebs? I used to ride fairly quickly, but now everyone seams to be doing 100 plus in 30,s and 40,s.

And don't get me started on some of the leathers!
