You would be surprised. This past year decided to do the right thing and update the papers as you do in case something bad happens (but dont get your hopes up sorry guys). So I asked my nephew would he like my Twincam, he replied "why woulld I want that old thing for?" I said well it should be worth at least 50 grand (25k Pounds) and he replied " Thats just ridiculous". So then I said to a close friend I knew really wanted a Mk1 but wife and kids meant he wasnt able to afford to get back into the frey. I asked him do you want my Twincam if I snuff it and his reply was "No thanks, its an original and would take too much looking after and couldnt afford the specialised parts to keep it original. He just wants a Mk1 he can bash around without fear of something getting damaged on it. (To be fair since our youth he has written off 6 Escorts Mk1 and 2)" He ended with "Im a smoker and a boozer so Im going to die before you anyways" Hmmmm, I thought this is now just getting silly.

LOL you'll be lucky. One 35 degree day driving in the desert and you will be drinking your own wee and drawing straws on who gets eaten. Only balmy British days will do, its never forgetten where it came from. Its why I want a Mk1 RS2000 so much so I can tour in the thing on a hot summers day! Besides Vista you have enough orange Mk1s!
