Admin Vista Posted May 27, 2016 Admin Report Posted May 27, 2016 Was in San Remo this morning and had to leave early because of risk of delays from French protests and GP related traffic around Monaco. It all started going tits up from there Got to airport after no delays so 2.5 hours to kill.... Flight then 2 further hours delayed.... Security made me check my case in (because of a brass name plate I had in it).... Easy Jet charged my 44€ despite it being the same bag I could take on the plane for free (big row ensued at check in desk)... Went through passport control only to find my colleauges hadn't yet. And they were carrying my lap top bag with my wallet in it (I thought they were waiting on that side)... French police refused to let me back through despite me not having taken three steps past the booth! (officious twats)... It was F'in hot in the terminal and I wasn't in the best of moods... Flight has been diverted to Cardiff due to a Thunderstorm at Bristol.... Now sat on runway while plane is being refuelled and no clue what time we'll be off again.... Still got a 2 hour drive from Bristol when I eventually get there.... Think I must have pissed some one off up there :moan:

Admin Vista Posted May 27, 2016 Author Admin Report Posted May 27, 2016 The airport is saying the plane won't be allowed to leave with luggage aboard without a passenger aboard responsible for it. This despite Sleazy Jets own security allowing it. So basically 200 people sitting around hungry, tired and with long onward journeys thanks to two selfish old twats and some Welsh in the terminal!

accord83 Posted May 27, 2016 Report Posted May 27, 2016 It makes my 3hr delay sat in Arrecife airport yesterday due to the incoming planes arriving late because of the French, "Oh it's a British Bank Holiday coming up, lets have one ourselves" seem small beer. 1
