Looks like a very cool place, do they allow dogs does anyone know? It's not a real dog - tiny and fluffy, but a dog all the same...

Yes dogs are permitted, with restrictions. See below from their T&C's

  • Children and dogs must be supervised at all times.
  • Dogs must be on a lead at all times including designated dog walking areas. Owners are required to clean up after their dogs in all areas at all times.

Lots of work going on behind the scenes. Fingers crossed one of us will have the green light and we can put this on the events page. Rally plates are underway, pace notes drafted. Possibly some traders on the Sunday.

Hoping to trail run the route again next week too.

Have been to the River Dart Country Park many times in the past (used to stay at a campsite just up the road).  It's a lovely venue :)

Just been up there to do the route again and its written on all the brown tourist boards as you enter the moors.

So yeah. Need to look at the route again. Found a cracking place for lunch but it's single track roads or doing some of the route twice.

Took some pics. From what we saw you can have sheep, horse or cow for dinner :-D
