Mk2 escort rear fog light wiring diagram

Does anyone have a schematic for the rear fog light. Got the light and proper switch and some cable. I will used a fused relay and proper ford switch.

You don't need a relay for a fog light.

I suppose it depends how it's wired. It doesn't draw much current though.

Think that a rear fog must be wired so only comes on when h/ lamps are on but stand to be corrected.

Before I get my thinking head on you will need a two way relay in circuit if you run feeds from high and low beam circuits to avoid back feeding either.

Check out the loom first may have the wire already run through but not connected

No - you take the fog lamp power from the lights power between the light switch and the dip / high beam switch. It would seem most manufacturers at the time used the side light circuit, as the number of twats driving in fog with just sidelights on at the front but a nice dazzling fogger at the back is countless - then they forget its on for weeks afterwards! Grrrrr!
