Mk2 escort wiring diagrams

Hi all. I've got a mk2 escort van and I trying to find a wiring diagram. As I'm having issues with front lights etc.

They're the same as a standard escort wiring, you should find a useable wiring diagram in a Haynes manual if you can get hold of a copy.

I always see reference to Haynes manuals, didnt Ford put out their own manuals there in the UK?

Thats interesting. Ford Australia offered them to the public and they were cheaper than any of the Haynes ones and also 2 to 3 times as thick.

 

 

The Mk1 Manual even has the Twincam in it.

 

 

Ages ago I picked up this one at some car show/swapmeet. I just always assumed that our manuals were simply based on readily available British ones, although it doesnt have the Twincam in it like the Australian one does.

 

 

 

As to the original posters request, my Australian manual has a huge fold out wiring diagram but if I size it down in a photo it wouldnt be very easy to read?

Haynes diagrams are quite good,just do what I do and get them blown up to A0 size. Makes them dead easy to read and follow the wires.
