For those who are showing, all tickets are booked and I will let you know when they arrive. Normally 2 weeks before the show.

And for some of you... Please don't forget to bring spare CLEAN clothes

Well I hope that Vanish wash powder is as good as they say it is ! ...got some overtime to do to pay for a hotel.

Got Thursday and Friday clothes sorted as we will be busy with the stand, thought I'd better get some posh over halls inkeeping with the people surrounding me !

looking forward to it, just trying to sort some accommodation out, hopefully Airbnb will get me something, or else i will hide out in the boot of the Capri, flask, ipad, packed lunch - job done.

There are a few, bit pricy though and up to 8 miles away. Well if you call £80 per night pricy. I'm staying 10 mis away.

as the crow flies, mines 2 mins walk, but because of fencing etc and roads around the nec, its a 20 min taxi journey, the 3 nights come to £360

for some reason, Saturday night is a very expensive night compared to thu and fri

I paid £210 for the 3 nights, but only take me 15 mins in the van.

I got couple coming up on the Friday, can I use it for their tickets?

got a nights bnb for £40 through Airbnb - i may even do the three nights instead of coming back up on the Sunday by train.

Will have to see. Airbnb defo worth a try though for anyone still looking for somewhere to stay, read the reviews.

As it is your first time,Make sure your first there, floor swept and kettle on prior to our arrival. Proceed out to car park and assist all the other members with their cars. That includes unloading, polishing and putting on the stand whilst also making sure the tea is not 'stewed' After this you will be able to tell us what happens as we've not been either......lol

Not quite Sarfend, i am pretty much in between Sarfend and London, Lakeside territory unfortunately..? God, i hate shopping, well unless it is for trainers or car bits.

What do you guys bring for last minute car polishing, just spray bottles and loads of dry cloth etc. Hopefully it doesn't piss down on the way up...

I shall be taking a trusty bottle of Mer, tyre slick and solvol autosol plus plenty of cloths

ive never had to clean or polish mine,

better take a trip to Halfrauds then lol

I was due to take mine to the NEC a few years ago, but it never got finished in time, however, the advice I was given at the time, was to take a car cover to put over it over night, as the dust generated by all the walkers during the day settles overnight, covering the cars in dust that has to be cleaned off before opening the next day, but a good quality cover limits the cleaning
