Nah, Colin's not sleeping. Just come in after loading the old girl up. Just hope the weathers ok for traveling down in morning, fingers crossed.

Just on a foot note those tyres for your Capri, I've dug them out and they are 215/50/13 khumos, appear to be still ok and have 95% tread on them. I've put them in the van if any good to you.

Just got my photo files finished ! ...Done two, one for the younger generation with good eyesight and another for the poor sods like me who worked on these first time round...LOL

Well we all arrived safely at the NEC, some earlier than others. Suppose coming from the sarf it's uphill !! Got the stand up and set out the cars. Must admit under the lights in the NEC the cars do twinkle, on saying that Stevens Xpack left his twinkle at home as can be seen in the pics of which are up to my usual standard...lol Don't think any 4 year old with a phone has anything to worry about. Just a couple of pics. Will let you know on the feedback of the cars and stand tommorow....Can't wait can you !!!

Shouldnt they be parked on carpet, or maybe a bit of soft moss, something gentle?

Don't want to be standing on the RS owners club toes now do we, upstaging them.

Well the  higherachy at the NEC shifted our stand when we'd left as it appears we oversized the pitch !....do they know who WE are !

after all the effort we put in getting all the lines of barrier straight and have to put up with OCD anal Gary insisting we had no twists in the flag tape, com on get a life ! Then insisting the cars in a line and are at the exactly the same angle. Got to be a sarfy thing. Had a visit from one of our forum members from Denmark which was good and was impressed with the British show and the stand so alls good. The OSF flyers seem to be getting picked up by potential members so another plus. A lot of Irish enthusiasts visited the stand and were interested in our type of approach to members, a lot were put off by the clicky type of forum and the don't do this and don't do that on certain forums. Will try and get some pictures tommorow of other fords around the hall. Rays car has attracted a lot of attention which rightly so it's gorgeous. Same with Gary's with it been such an in your face colour with contrasting stripe is a right eye catcher. Stephens X pack Cappa is also getting its fair shard of inspections think mainly because there ain't to many about in that condition along with its history. Then someone dumped a scabby Tina on the end to fill the space up, Nuff said about that one. Hope to see all member pop in to the stand to see us and say hello, don't think you'll be disappointed with the quality of cars there this year.

see ya soon Col.

Thanks for the update Col, great to hear the stand is getting good attention.

Sorry I can't be there but I have a date tomorrow with what have to be the oldest working ship's diesel engines still in service in the world. 6 cylinder naturally aspirated slow speeds built in 1929, open rocker lubrication the lot. Can't wait to hear them burst into life again. 8)

Cracking day on the stand today, pity we missed the osf members but the enquirys from the public about joining the forum was a lot. Think Ray was most of the day showing his car to a lot of very interested parties. Tbh Ray's car has gone down very very well with the public. 95% of the day foot traffic was a steady pace of admirers of the stand, not just a quick glance at the care either so that was good to see. Took a few pics of other Fords within our area, some exellent cars on show this year.

Had a good day yesterday at the show , it was good to meet you guys on osf stand . The cars are a credit to you all and i can appreciate all the hard work thats gone into producing them . It was good to talk to colin ... but i was disappointed not to meet “ Daisy “ after all we have heard so much about her go faster blinkers etc !!!! And being an osf member . Lol. Nice Tina by the way Colin . Well impressed .

But for me ... not being biased in anyway !!! Lol.... star of the stand ..... has to be Ray’s stunning 1300e   Absolutely beautiful . Just as Henry intended it to be from new . I am not suprised its has caught a lot of peoples attention and interest .

Enjoy your last day guys .

Sorry you couldn't meet Daisy but she was in car park 10, due to the size of her legs we couldn't get a wrist band round them. With all the jobsworths about the NEC they wouldn't permit her in!! Must agree on your thoughts on Ray's car though its stunning and to be on the same stand as it is a pleasure. Just a pity we have to put up with Gary's poor wit and his ocd. But only one day left, be glad to get back to people who can speak proper English !!....LOL
