 Just brought a twin cam powered mk1 escort with bubble arches Got plans to fix her up over the next few months. First time of owning an old skool ford so thought id join to get ideas and help along the way

Me and the bank manger are on first name terms now lol

I am told that the car has a gearbox from an rx8 'cos it's more reliable and close to the ratios of the original. The release bearing has gone, is there anything I need to look out for or any tips for when I fix it.   Or where on here can I look?
