Good Morning everyone :)

How is your Pod Face?      What cracking weather at CF Show this weekend!

I just wanted to say, on behalf of the Admin and Mods on O.S.F., thank you to all of the members that came along and supported the club stand at the show.   We had a premium spot by the grandstands (a position we have been allocated for many years now) and the stand looked superb!    What a great variety of OSF's --- PROPER OLD SKOOL FORD'S !!

A massive, massive thank  you to J.P. and Linda - our Dutch contingent - who parked you all up in place on the Sunday.      It is with great pride that we can tell you that we won BEST CLUB STAND OF THE SHOW - no mean feat and for the 3rd year in a row!!     Well done to all who helped us to achieve that.

We hope you enjoyed the day, thanks once again :)

The show was great ending to a crap weekend for me, started off badly on sat morning working only going over the time by one of the trucks have two blowouts ! Got home around one. Finish putting the Tina engine back together, load up/ shower were off. Only to get 60 Mls away from home and realise I've forgot to pick my tickets up!!! On the phone to arrange a meet with my lad, got the tickets on my way again. By this time it's getting on, 7-30ish arrive at the pod. Lovely night thought have a walk around get some pics......get my iPad out..........flat as a fart. After a bit of nosh and a few cups of tea off to bed. Nice quiet night on the camping field, Sunday, sun shining cars turning up as they should do jobs a good un. Then to get the best stand award just finished the day off. Thanks to everyone turning up and making it a great day.

Pretty sure you can show your tickets on a smart phone Col. The stand pass does need to be printed though.

That was the first disaster, Friday I was climbing out of a silo only to finally destroy my already broken phone! Of which people have commented? So lost all my details and emails as I had a borrowed phone.

Had a great sunday. Got there about 11am and got to put my car with the other OSF forum cars.

You all have some great looking cars and inspired me to get on with mine.

It was my other halfs 1st ever time to santapod so not sure how well it was going to go. She isnt really a car person (or so i thought). She loved it and cant wait till next year. She also now wants a yellow Mk2 Mexico! Maybe one day.

Twas brilliant!

Had a good days out.
Went in on wednesday traveling from Dover - along the southcoast, Hastings, Brighton to Southampton to collect GT40 parts ending at Kings Sutton near Banbury on a campsite that this year apeared to be an ant farm....
Did about 500miles that day so we crashed after a few Scotch.
Thursday when we discovered the ant issue we moved the tent to another ( and only !! ) spot on the campsite with less ants and manged to have a few days to enjoy.

Saturday of to Santapod where they tried to rip me off at 11am at the gate. 1 hour to early, thats 70 quit sir, I turned around and waited an hour ending up just to pay 20 quit for camping.

Saturday was quit and sunday we had a good show. It apeared everybody was leaving early and even the traders started packing their stuf at 3pm. At 4pm most of the entrands where gone and at 5pm the showground was as good as empty so we left also, back to the ant farm where we already had paid for.
Will look for another campsite next time...
Monday we left at 0830 to vissit Rally Design to get some parts and a company called GTForte that apeared to be disapeared as both adresses we had where no good. By luck we didn't pay for the ordered parts.
We had the ferry back on 15.45pm and arrived home at 20.30.
Guess we did about 1100/ 1150 miles total.

Will be back in about six weeks for Dragstalgia & Silverstone Classic.

What a  great weekend at the classic ford show; me and my eldest son Stuart took the Anglia.   We had a great time on the strip on Saturday up until 8 o clock , some variety of cars on the  track  and walking round the pits, saw  even more  amazing ones.  Had a chat with Jo,  Kev,  Kieran and Chris.  Borrowed their compressor to get slicks on.  On Sunday  Kieran filmed a great vid of the car ,  a new PB,  this will really help to see what to do next , (carpets and a paint job according to my wife!!)  I'll get Stuart to put some pics up later.   thanks to everyone .
