professionals rs 2000

does any 1 no wat happened to the rs 2000 from the professionals bin on the net an 1 internet site said it was stolen from the set an its now scraped but not for definate.

 

heres the proper plate (aparently) pno 672r

i read somewhere that it wasnt stolen, they just told so coz mk3 escort came on market. it wouldnt be good to advertise old model. there were no hot mk3 escy thats why doyle became capri too

im sure it was at donnington rs national day a few years ago, i seem to remember somthing about it at the time, it was quite a few years ago now though

i think you are right in what you said mate and think the car is being restored as we speak.

i think there was only one rs2000 used in the show the sunroof was added coz the the interior was so dark and was making the incar fliming hard work. at the beginning of season 2 the car go's missing of 2 or 3 episodes.

 

then again i could be wrong aswell.

Hmmm tough one to answer that, for the following reason. The Capri Ghia's registration number is CCR 412W, yet in He Ain't Heavy, He's My Uncle, the registration number was UYD 177R
