Where did you get the image in the first place? Do you know what country the car is in?

I just took a quick look that was a Japanese Pininterest one, so still in Japan. They have quite a few shown there. They seem to like posting about spotting them but thats about it. They seem to be found abandoned all over the place there when they are actually really quite rare.

Wow you pretty much wiped the slate clean with that one. Its getting too easy, I will have to make it harder next time.

I do love Fiat 850 Spiders. Never seen one in real life we don't get them here.

The Porsche 944 had a backstory it was stolen and found 27 years later down the bottom of the hill as you see it. Looks in pretty good condition for being at the bottom of a ravine for 27 years.

The Aston was simply parked up in the woods 40 years ago and left there to rot. I think alot of these people have intentions to do something with them but times gets away from them.

Such a shame about the Aston

When those photos of it abandoned were published someone came and pulled it out of the scrub for restoration. So it will live again.

That doesn't surprise me given that good ones change hands for circa half a million £. I wonder what it cost the buyer in that state? Also what will the restoration cost?

I would be interested to know as well. In one caption they say it could fetch up to 475 thousand pounds but that's a total misleader as that's the value of a fully restored one. You probably would make your money back.

There were so many abandoned Astons I almost started a quiz just for them alone but thought it better to spread them out in the end.

Would prob cost 1/2 mil to restore that’s what people charge to do these now!

An engine could cost 50-60 alone for some reason

I’ll do it for 250000 for you

Are you sure thats not a 924 ?

I would have said so just viewing at the images but the blurb with the images about its stolen history said it was a 944 so I went with that rather than how it appeared to me but they are easily confused in the press I would imagine so that blurb could be in error. With the pic you posted it makes me even more convinced its a mistake.
