Hi, just joined this interesting forum.

I've not a long history of Ford ownership, but I have had a few. The first, although not mine, was my dads Anglia 105E which I learned to drive in, loved that car. The second in about 1986 was a 2 door White Escort Mk 1 with a 1600 x-flow that replaced an Automatic TR7.  I was a bit naive back then and although fun, was a bodge job. If I had it now I'd restore it......I wish.

Then a rather bland Red Sierra, as a company car, god was it bland I think it was a 1600 but memory fails me. Glad to pass that one on.

In about '93 I bought a White Mk2 RS turbo which had been mildly chipped and that was fun, probably the best ford out of a short list.

Now up to date I have my daily non ford, a 68' Lotus Elan S4 which is being restored by me, although it does have Ford parts the 1558cc Twincam uses a ford 116E block, 4 speed type 9 gear box and ford diff.............

............. I now have a Fiesta Mk6 1.25 Freedom, strictly my brothers, which has some issues which need to be sorted. ABS Module needs replacing, steering pump to be replaced, a full service, its never had a service or oil change!!!!!!!!!!!   The car has only done 14,500 miles from new, 1 owner.  So it will be sorted hopefully within the next couple of months then sold for a more interesting project.......

Thanks Guys,

The next project, would love a MK1 Escort, but the price may be a little to prohibitive, what with the cost of getting my Elan painted £8K+.

So not sure yet, whatever it maybe it would preferably be a rolling restoration, probably a 60's car......... watch this space.

mpddevelopments....... Ive started to read your project....impresive.
