EscortTyler03 Posted July 29, 2021 Report Posted July 29, 2021 Well then I've started my ways around here now as I am a 18 year old Ford lover from Rainham and as of yet I don't drive but I really want to get it done as my first car that I got only recently is a 1978 (I think) Ford Escort Mk2 Van, imported from either Italy or Portugal. I know it's made in Portugal by the data plate, who's vin matches with the chassis number (win) it's never been repainted and is overall solid apart from the standard places. It's a van but it has factory rear seats and wind down windows which is neat. Those windows are the subject of my next post in the resto topic 2

My dad saw escorts everyone in his childhood and the only 'vans' he saw with windows were the nimbus campers, this isn't a camper however. Australia has the majority of windowed vans but the glass is fixed and smaller. This is Portuguese made btw 1
