Update on the Fuel Pumps FFP445 from Firstline

Firstline have picked up the faulty pumps to investigate further and discuss with their manufacturer.

Watch this space!

Thats pretty interesting. While the pumps are of European Manufacture as mentioned above whats the bet they sourced a rubber component for them from China.  The Chinese cant even make rubber products that last in the air let alone being exposed to ethanol.

Let's see what they come back with. There is definitely zero suction and there was when I fitted. On another note the plastic disc that houses the valves is of poor quality and was badly stained after just 200miles.

Had an update from Firstline. The manufacturer has found a fault in a batch of pumps see below.

I have gone back to them to try to get the batch number of the faulty pumps as I have a 3rd replacement to fit and don't want to go through more pain.

Beware if you are buying a pump that has been sat around for some time.
