Lemans Green bubble arched mk1 Escort registration PXC682M was stolen from outside the visitor centre of Hardwick Hall Hotel in Sedgefield between 10:05am & 12:15pm on Saturdays 15th July 2023.

The car is fitted with steel bubble arches all around, the front wings are bolted on & has a series of bolts running up the height of the wings.

It has black bonnet vents, Mexico badges & a set of bullet mirrors.

The car has a 1700 Crossflow with a very rare Piper rocker & rocker cover, twin 40 Webers, HPE exhaust manifold, black silicone hoses & Airtec radiator.

The car has a type 9 gearbox, single piece prop coupled to a blackline limited slip diff. The rear is a 5 linked English axle.

The car has 7.5" RS 4 spoke alloys.

Inside the car is a 6 dial dash, Sparco alloy pedals, Springalex steering wheel & black headlining & door cards.

The battery is located in the boot along with a Facet red top fuel pump.

I've seen a number of parts over the last few months that you wonder why they have been removed as they look too good.

This boot lid looks the same @escortmad79 was your boot lid bubbling on the LHS corner?

Fair shout though @Ray and @escortmad79. Breaking stolen Classics is on the up as its the only way to move well known cars.

Sadly fleebay have no way of stopping it unless we spot and report the item.

I remember not too long ago there was a speight of scam sellers of classic cars on fleebay.  I used to report everyone.

Extra vigilance needed from all of us to try to disrupt these barstewards.
