If you had the money, would you buy a Ford built Boreham car or an MST fake?

I wager the Ford built car will be more expensive.....but at least it's actually a Ford.

That’s a good point however, I’m old school, leave well alone. You’re correct, they’ll be mega money with fancy halo lights and heaters that work🤣

Lots of unknowns though, are they going to the expense of re-tooling to make these vehicles? will they have to meet todays safety standards? if the dimensions are going to be the same as before at least genuine body panels will be available as will parts and trim which means a rush on Ebay of current parts as their value decreases rapidly! my resto cost me mega money, I bet one of these will be cheaper! :-)

It'll be interesting to see what they actually cost. And are they all going to be bubble arched like the MST ones, or will they offer normal arches etc?

Didn't see any mention of engine etc, so with new car emissions regulations etc, chances of it having a Xflow or Pinto are slim I bet.

That is just bonkers, and to be honest, there are features to the car that I don't think do it any favours. Especially for £300k compared to a new MST

I wouldn't spend 30k on a ford escort let alone that joke of a figure, Regards the MST or Boreham question it doesn't matter because they are not original uk first registered classic cars, this scene is full of imposter imported cars as is and owning any car for me is all about the particular cars past and it's story not just trying to keep up with the microfiber cloth waving, investment brigade .

Rust is the scars of life hey Gordy!

Agree, a car with history a story and character, resonates so much more with the average Joe buying one back in the day,
