venetian-red Posted October 14, 2025 Report Posted October 14, 2025 Morning all; I know this has been talked about before, but are these wheels here genuine RS alloys, or just 'Capri' please?
Miniliteman Posted October 14, 2025 Report Posted October 14, 2025 (edited) (Early) Ford RS wheel made by GKN (not Ronal not ATS). Not a Capri Laser wheel (that has a 81EB code). Edited October 14, 2025 by Miniliteman 1
venetian-red Posted October 14, 2025 Author Report Posted October 14, 2025 So, if they are GKN, that's the main way to identify?
Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted October 14, 2025 Moderator Report Posted October 14, 2025 What size are they? What is the centre cap diameter? 1
venetian-red Posted October 14, 2025 Author Report Posted October 14, 2025 They are the standard 6 x 13 wheels, dimensions as per the photos.

YellowTaxi Posted October 15, 2025 Report Posted October 15, 2025 Easiest way to spot Lazer wheels at a glance is are by the circular casting around the bolt holes, twice as thick on Lazers. 1
Miniliteman Posted October 15, 2025 Report Posted October 15, 2025 The Mk2 GP1 RS wheel also has the thicker webbing. 1
