They are even better.

Capri X-pack 7.5" Ronal's

Narrowed axle and narrowed front suspension to get them in but retain the geometry.

How do you narrow front to get them to fit ?

Always just thought it was the addition of Mex arches…

Possibly had both at some point. I’ve aseen pics online that look like 7s and if you type in his name on YouTube there’s a video where he gives a brief rundown on spec of his car and it has aftermarket 7.5s

I think you are right, I have now studied photos of the car,  it does look like a mixture of 7s and 7.5s very cheeky

The wheels on the car in the photos above are 7.5 's all round.

First introduced in UK on FMC555V a Mk2 Escort concourse car in the late 90's. Which copied the German RS scene look.

Narrowed rear axle, modified front hubs, rolled arches and machined rims to get a different ET-value.

Rs steering wheel, rs16i front seats, 140 clocks, ronal wheels, Mex wings, narrower rear axle and a lovely cam’d redtop with V6 type 9 box.

Im all for 13in rims but those tyres look like they are coming off the rims to me!🤣

I thought the same …

i “think” they are 195/45’s. A tyre size im led to believe they don’t make anymore so unsure what the go to tyre is now.

Back in the day the German's choice was the Pirelli P7F in 175/50R13 . The 175 width was probably just to keep the TuV happy as it was more like a 205 tyre in reality. In UK I've seen Uniroyal 195/55R13 tyres on 7.5 inch rims.

175/50/13 on a 7.5” must look quite stretched  Probably much the same as a 195/45

My car came with 175/50’s. 7” front and 8” rear. Front looked ok-ish but rear looked awful and damn right dangerous. 
I tried 185/60s all round but the front rubbed the arch as don’t have Mexico wings. Fitted 175/60 to front and left the 185 on rear but the rears looked like balloons in comparison to fronts. 

Spent far too long on a tyre comparison site to try figure out the best combo for front and rear that were closest % wise for profile, rolling radius etc and the best I could find for tyres that were available was 175/60 front and 195/55 rear. Now looking at the car side on they look same height front and back and not like a hot rod with the 185/60 rear. 
Now I know why cars like Porsche with different widths front to rear have different profiles…eg: if they have a 35 profile front , rear will be 30. 
A wider tyre on rear needs to come down at least one profile to match…

That’s another minefield. Tyres being different widths but listed as being the same dependant on make…

Also noticed Dunlop now sell a “classic” style tyre , either unusual sizes or old skool look tread pattern but at circa £200 each they weren’t for me…
