Don't worry bout it Mark, tbh i think they look better without the bulge, especially if you're goung for a 1600. Bummer, trying to fit lowering blocks & back axle with one pair of hands this weekend didn't go to plan so I'm waiting on my ol man having a day off  Pay day Friday, so the Anglia'll be done and the Mk1 spares ordered! Can't wait!

Was you thinking of the V6 then? My nan has to have all her caravans & sheds movd from her smallholding & maybe my uncles roten Mk2 transit, which has a 3-litre essex, thought of you but doubt I'd be allowed to touch it and its probably siezed, but would be cool.

Yep, i'm with these lads. The baby Capri's look alot better with the flat bonnets = FACT. I had a Mk1 facelift a while ago, and to me, they don't look right with the bulged bonnets, well, unless it is a bit 3.0 of course.

You will find that the flat bonnets are a lot harder to find as well, plus alot of people always go for the bulged bonnets. Be different mate, stick with your flat one, a damn sight prettier :D:D:D

theres a moral here:

dont watch

Mines got a bulge in the bonnet

You not like it?

I love yours mate, but yours is a facelift I think 8)

What I was getting at was, the baby Mk1's look prettier with the flat bonnet as that is how they left the factory. The facelifts all had power bulges, because that was one of the revisions from the Mk1's.

I love all Capri's mate, yours included :ykt::wink::D:D:D
