Personally I quite like this. I say go for it. Do something because you want to. Dont not do it just cos everyone says not to.

(you know what I mean!)

If you are going to paint it pink, there was a metallic colour on Mk1 Capris and Mk2 Cortina 1600Es called "Orchid" Not a very often seen colour, but still a nice colour,

I LOVE pink, not sure if I could own a Car in pink though :?

I'm looking for a white 2.8 Capper so I can get away with pink decals. Used to own a black XR4x4 with pink decals. Got funny comments when I had them made up at CF Show last year. Since sold the car to my brother. He still has the pink stickers :lol::lol:

I have to admit I do quite like the 'Hot Pink' with Black roof look

If you want it go for it. How about the colour of the Street Ka. Thats cool.

i remember seeing a pink Ka at Vospers in Plymouth 2 years ago... it looked OK from a distance but once you got up close you could see it had been sprayed in a rush and it was a very poor paint job. IIRC it was something to do with Thunderbirds...

it was at an OSF meet i went to there

Street Ka & Cool should NEVER be used in the same sentence... EVER!!

I quite like the Ka  Couldn't own one though, I'd have to have another one for the other foot :lol: Still think the pink one looks cool though :lol::lol:

Not pink! There's a doris lives my way who had a sierra, pink with yellow wheel trims (as in BRIGHT pink  ) It looked terrible and couldnt work out why anyone would do it, sure the sierra isn't a great car but it didnt deserve that! Whats worse? Well she's traded it in....now she's about in a bright pink Galaxie mpv  you can hardly miss it!

My brother in law's old Mk5 was jet black, smoked taillights and blacked out windows, looked really mean in a gangsta kind of way, lowered on black & polished pepperpots

Yeah it was nice and shiney, with shiney black window tints that you couldn't see through 8) could try subtle pink pinstripe along each side with like it going up and down as per a medical graph at the end of the rear quarter, that would look cool? He had a small one in pink and yellow across the corner of the bonnet. Another mate has a Model Y hot rod thats always been a real hit on the show scene, that used to be olympic blue with ghost wet look flames down the side and bright neon pink detailing, as in engine block and the axle was all neon pink with a pink instripe down the side, that looked cool when you looked underneath. try that? Pink neons below a black one with blacked windows would look really bad too
