However, I've never attempted to shake a tranny off

That was the day my door glass decided it didnt want to stay up any longer and dropped into the bottom of the door in the car park Had to leave my mum sat next to the car in a deck chair all day

The green MK1 is a 3000GXL. The current owner picked it up for £900 just over 18 months ago...

I will have to contact Andy and find out. Sadly, my gearbox decided to start leaking again on the way there... losing about an egg cup full a day now, which is slightly annoying (massive understatement there), having just spent over £200 having the leak fixed the Monday before the SC meet It's a Ford... if it don't leak, it's empty lol
