  9. Yeah I know, I have been there several times. I did all my driving courses at Leconfield, nr Beverly, when I had a proper job in the army! So it is possibly the end of the world, but I think that title belongs to the Falklands lol.
  10. M mm mm mm mm. ................let me think about that, Hull or auk land, what's further. Nope no eggs yet. Any way there was a guy on the flux stand who had travelled from Darlington in his s2 turbo, guess that's further than hull too
  11. Not the pic you posted up, the one of the mk1 sport.............I know people travel to ford meets but I doubt that anyone would travel from new Zealand, now watch me get egg on my face
  12. Think that 1300 sport was parked next to me on the flux stand at classic ford. Nice guy with his son from Wiltshire. It was very very tidy.
  13. Well surely you knew it's loaded with "c u next Tuesday" wasters! Just stick with it and wade through all the B'S and total mens parts! Someone will turn out to be right, and just remember you don't have to answer all the bone questions asked. Keep your chin up mate!

  21. It's there, but am a techno phobe so don't know how to cut and paste via my tablet, type in pinto engine....or rs2000 engine and tick the in description box, I am sure it was buy it now 860 for the engine and the price for the type 9 is in the ad description. It is on there. Pete
  22. Great car, you will be sorry! Bet you can't believe that harris mk1 went on just before yours - it's always the way, you think it's the right time to list as yours will be the best on and then another comes on. Yours will make good money and be a better option as it won't be temperamental and it won't cost a fortune to insure. Mind that harris must be a handful at over 200 bhp, it was quick on the TV for the love of cars, but yours will be the better option. That's my opinion anyway! Good luck.
  23. Looks like a colour of a hillman avenger, remember those, an old boy had down my road when I was a yooof! And before you say it yes I know I am no use at all in this matter! Still it will probably get minds thinking
  24. Yeah something like that, no he was after a cheap car to work on, and mine fitted the bill...........well it nearly fitted I a box, he got it sorted though. There was plenty in the scrap yards back then, and it was only the bonnet, front wings, valance and slam panel...........yeah she did do a job on it. Problem was it was on an industrial estate......and she had not passed her test...........surprising how little swearing I did!
