tbh, nick and I looked at this a month ago, the guy wanted silly money at that point, the GXL is just the European version of the 1300E, with some obvious differences, it was available in both LHD and RHD, 2 and 4 door, and some late 1300Es like my blue one have the GXL designation on the body plate and do carry the same clock, which again was denoted on the body plate, if it was 2 door RHD it would be in my workshop lol, but 4 door lefty, we walked away, if your gonna take it and modify it so to speak, probably worth the 3.5k, but if you going to retain originality, its expensive as it will take years to find the correct parts, if at all, it was a rare beast to start with, now its very rare and so are the parts, even the missing spot lights are GXL specific the clock and pod RP, are relatively easy to get, but expensive, trim virtually impossible tho

if you painted everything behind the grill black as well as the screws for the light, and made the ford badge chrome/ silver, and painted the lower grill black, imho that would look the nuts

i have qty 3 indoor Hamilton cair o port car tents, no longer needed 2 medium one large, 2 of the 3 need zip repairs, one has the fans missing, and all the fan power supplies missing, as I never needed to use the fans, If I find the power suplies I will include them, just lost them in the move, some of the poles need straightening, the one without fans, I don't have the fans as I bought it second hand without the fans ideal if you want to make 2 from 3, tbh easy to make 3 from 3 no longer needed now ive moved collection only from SS3 due to size and awkwardness to pack, no courier would take them job lot £100.00
