  1. OK thanks.
  2. Thanks for the info, just what I needed to know.👍
  3. That's what I wanted to hear. My SA sport has a cast bell , and I has some SA hammer work. I didn want to do that to my van.
  4. Quick question, would this alloy bellhousing, alow me to fit a type 9 gearbox into a mk2 escort, without bashing the bulkhead about, what's involved ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/382333130829?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=c3eByFglQNC&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=jDL8pYnSTce&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Cheers johnny
  5. I love the old euro transit😄
  6. Arh, I see , that's where the problem is. They will definitely want a form of dating, or you will get a "Q" reg, and you don't really want that 🙄
  7. Do you have a SA log book, because they can use the date from that.🤔 That's how I did mine , no dating certificate needed. I'm currently registering another one, just using the SA log book as a dating evedence.
  8. Check you messages on here , I've messaged you
  9. Your best bet is to phone them. I had a great argument with them, when I converted a van to a camper recently. I did get it registered as a camper, after phoning them and discussing why they would not register it as a camper, and me saying it was a camper, with pictures. Hard work though ☹️
  10. DVLA really do get my blood boiling 😬
  11. I've put all my paperwork in to DVLA to register my new to me SA imported MK2 Escort van. I had an email from DVLA to say I had not included a photocopy of my driving licence for ID purposes. At least they emailed me , they usually send it all back with a letter, even though you give them your email and phone number. I phoned them, and and told them that not only had I taken a picture of the chassis plate printed on an A4 sheet, that I had photo copied my driving licence blown up huge on the other side. Premating DVLA's incompetence, I also wrote on the A4 sheet that the photo copy of my licence was on the other side of the chassis plate picture. Just had an email back , to say "oh yes I've found it" In the past, they have sent it all back saying I hadn't included a cheque, but I had and they lost it. And another time lost my licence. I don't think I could name a more incompetent outfit.
  12. Great, were they ever sold new in Israel ?
  13. Nice, is it a home market one or in imported one ?
  14. Here you go, even cheaper than £100 32 36 carb
  15. For just over£100 you can buy a Chinese no make 32/36 copy carb. they work fine , you may need to change the main and idle jets, to suit your application. Got one on my 1600 Sport Escort MK2.
  16. Yes I did think about messaging the sell , but he is in Australia. Its so safe even I can't find it. I have the operator's manual, and I was lucky enough to get a photo copy of the repair manual, from the maintenance guy , who visited the garage I was working at. But so far I can't find them.🙄
  17. Ti Crypton don't go back that far unfortunately. The sad thing is, I have it here but can't find it.
  18. I'm looking to sell my tune up machine. I haven't used it for 20 years. I wanted to connect it up and show it working, but I have mislaid the instructions and don't want to mis connect it, and blow it up. Does anyone know or have instructions please. Thanks Johnny
  19. I think most people go for the one piece, as its easier to get, and cheaper. 2 piece ones were fitted to make less vibration , I think
  20. I think rally design sell a single piece one.
  21. Hello
