Very nice car, probably far too nice for me to use, and not worry about damaging it, and rather too spendy for me. -
Getting old, what a bastard, I'm not doing as much project work. I keep thinking , I need to get on, but not like the old days , when I'd have a few good evenings in the barn working on projects. I've got too many to finish. But lots of other life stuff is getting in the way.π

Wow , that's crazy -
I bought this nearly 4 years ago, as a bit of wreck . Its a Swedish Import LHD. I have over the years, on and off recommissioned it, and registered it with a view to building it in a similar style to the MK1 Cortina that I built. Convert to RHD, convert to rack and pinion steering , re power with a Mazda engine and 5 speed etc. Unfortunately with my other projects, I don't think I'm going to be able to do that now, so its got to go. Id rather it went to a Ford fanatic if possible, hence advertising it on here first , before eBay or Car and Classic. Being a Swedish import it comes with dual circuit servo brakes, and a steering lock, and opening quarter lights. The shell is very good in all the right places, but dose have rust in the rear valence, both sides of the boot, and down the edge of the front wing. It looks like it had been rust treated on the underside, and in the closed sections with something like Zibart. Its had a terrible repair to the n/s/r, but looking inside the boot there is little damage. I have some Swedish history , and loads of receipts from what I spent, going though the car to make it reliable and safe. New tyres, new brakes, 2 inch stainless exhaust, plus hundreds spent on lots of parts. Its a 1969 series 2 car, everything works, even down to the interior light, its speedo is showing the equivalent of 39,000 miles. It would make a great build for someone, and a lot cheaper , and much less rusty than an Escort. Β£7995
