I finally managed to get my pics from Monday sorted. A very pleasent meet, top marks for Kee for getting on and organising something. As said, it was heavily FOMOCO and Vag stuff at first, but as the light faded there was a smattering of other marques to oogle over. Its hard to put a price on something like that, personally I think its got to be worth 2.5/3k , if its as clean as it seems that is. Can you get it on a ramp for a good look underneath? Have you taken it for a drive?

Have you got the loom from the Scorp? Or just a complete engine? The V6 is really better suited to capris/granadas, they are a heavy, wide lump. I don't doubt it'll fly, but for everyday, I' d be thinking Zetec. Flog the 24v to a capri owner and find a rear ended earlyish 2lt m0ndeo. You can even find the conversion parts secondhand on ebay to keep costs down. Easy to do, keep the weight down, you'll be a able to get your arms down the side to work on it and parts are more than plentiful. It a winner in my eyes, and its what escRot will be getting next - hopefully

This is every second Saturday of the month and even a big American lifestyle show at Newark showground (pictures to come ) on Saturday/Sunday didn't seem to do anything detrimental to the numbers.
