  4. The manifold didnt work..... Plan b. I sold some spares and got a twin choke weber etc which I am now fitting. DSC_0024 by quickrack, on Flickr When its running i will be changing the entire front suspension set-up in a bid to get some actual suspension. Rs struts with lowered spring mounts, gaz short adjustable inserts, adjustable tca's so I can set the geometry right and a twin cam arb held by double width mounts. All bought slowly since last september. Still looking for a gearbox as well.

  6. Cos the one in the dash wont work. Entire dash and its top will be rebuilt if I ever get a minute and it will go then.

  9. I don't do speedbumps. I avoid them. Detour past them. Reverse away from them even. Got sick of being beached
  10. Well it's only worked. So far no issues with it catching. On to next project. Replacing my borrowed twin 40 webers with the carbs off a Zzr750rr!

  18. That's a tough one. To plough time, effort etc in and then sell it. I found doing a little everyday, even only a small thing led to eventual progress and one day I was enjoying it again. Can take a while tho
  19. Behind the wheel studs are four bolts screwed into the axle, holding the bearing and seal in place. Have you removed these? If so, then I suggest more weight on the hammer slide, might help.
  20. I used those rust and paint removal discs from 3m. Great job.
  21. My dipped beams have stopped working. And when fixed (my plan for the weekend) I need to get them focused.
