  1. The 5 speed is easy. You need a clutch disc the same size as the crossflow one( 195mm I think) but with the splines to fit on the gearbox. 23 Spline ?? Usually classed as early 4 speed sierra pinto on parts databases. Otherwise it bolts straight on to the engine. Good luck!
  2. If its the standard one for the 1100 single choke downdraught I think I have one you can have for postage cost. I'll never use it.
  3. Surely there is bits and pieces there, good to restorers etc at least. Better than just rotting all the way away.

  5. Thanks. And many happy returns!
  6. Seeing as it is as low a a low thing, the leading edge of the silencer catches stuff. This I have decided is why the damn thing keeps cracking, leaking and trying to fall off. So I welded a wee skid on. Nothing sexy but it should help. 14. Seeing as Jo mentioned things need improving I decided to update again. Since my last post I bought another Rs2000 propshaft. Which also failed. So I bit the bullet and bought a Grp4 Fabrications new one. Expensive but I am sick of problems with em. And the exhaust needs a skid on the silencer as it catches and pulls the pipe loose. Did that today. Will make a wee bit of clearance between the gearbox bellhousing and the bulkhead while under it. Photos when I figure out how. Comments welcome. Thanks.
  15. Nice car. The bars on the rear are a very effective form of anti tramp used by dragracers for years.
