Just putting the dates out there for anyone that fancies a day out or 4 next year.

Was a pleasure, and the best mix of cars for a while, all shapes, sizes and colours. Great fun and top people, thoroughly enjoyed it this year and the stand was the best it has ever looked imo. Top effort lads....😎

Stand is set people, all different cars and all different colours, and the stand, seats and decor all lookong smart, hopefully doing OSF proud. If you do make it, pop in and say hello.

Oh well, can't force it. It was great fun while it lasted. Cheap skates...🙃

Even closer now ladies and gents. I wonder how many OSF peeps come to say hello? Judging by the amount of OSF ticket sales, I think our sandwiches will be safe...😋

Guys and girls. I know at a glance the cost seems a bit steep, but if you have a car full and compare it to a decent evening in your local pub or what it costs for a few hours at a footy match these days, it is a proper long day out and there isn't another show quite as big or quite like it indoors, especially as the weather maybe iffy. So get yourselves a ticket and get yourselves along and say hello. And any interested parties thst fancy their car on the stand, let us know when you say hello, as always nice to have a fresh motor or two to mix the stand up a bit. But get the code, AND BUY THOSE TICKETS.

I know a lot of people think the show is expensive, but for the type of day out it is, if you get a car full, and what people are prepared to spend in a pub in an evening or at a footy match, it actually isn't that expensive. It is a whole day and a huge area all under cover and all related.to cars one way or another. If the OSF name is to live another year at this show, we really need a few supporters to use the code and get us some sales. Even if we can squuze out half a dozen tickets just to show a bit of support. As ray has already said, if you can't get to the members area pm myself or Ray for the code. Cheers people, be a massive shame if we lose the spot.

Well done lads, and Ray for pushing it. As said, it is a good show to both show and just attend. I do agree that it is not the cheapest, but as far as day out goes, you don't really get much better for what you pay. Just to watch a footy matxh these days is 3 times the NEC. Try and support if you can people, it means the club may fet the chance to keep the stand, and if any want to show, just make some noise and let us know.

Nice idea that mate, would look seriously professional. The 13e shirts look very nice. And the OSF chairs, those look proper smart and all from your own pocket and effort from your misses to get them onto the chairs. A lot of work you do behind the scenes mate, top man.

Exactly, I don't think it is so much about being in the hood, but more, as the tag suggests, contributing towards the upkeep of a site that we all seem to enjoy, but only a handful actually contribute towards. I don't benefit anymore than non paying members, but for £1 a month I just don't understand any arguments for not chipping in.....🤷‍♂️ Most people spend more than £12 in a few days on coffees ffs.....🙃

Wow, that is a low blow - so not even half a percent. Hopefully some of the thousands see this thread and have a ponder on that. 15,000 registered and free to use something that is being funded by just 44 of us.....😲

Nowhere near enough. The site is quite friendly in that it welcomes all for free and allows a lot of access whether you contribute or not forever, and lots take advantage of that. Some want to contribute, but it seems most don't think the site is worth £12 a year, which is nuts. Don't get me wrong, we all lurk for a while, but once you know it's for you, only fair to chip in I think. And like BaileyMex says OSF badge of honour.....👊....why wouldn't you want it?

Wow, not a lot of responses to this thread. To think of all the shows that people want to be a part of, the masses of info readily available, restore threads, vast amount of pictures, the amount of cars that want to be on show stands, the OSF equipment that has to be bought, the signing of documents that the guys do, liability insurance, the list goes on and on. Seems really strange that for all of the above, probably less than 2% of all that use the site feel happy with paying £1 a month to help keep it all going. Everyone seems to notice when the sight goes down......🧐

Will be sorting the NEC application today with any luck, although won't have reply until March 22.....🤞

I don't suppose it's cheap Vista, the up keep of the site, hardware, upgrades, insurance, show/stand equipment, etc, etc.

I would say that the colour of that car proves that the owner is undoubtedly on both drugs and alcohol mixed together.....😂

Who knows how long the OSF stand will be there, come and take a look whilst we are still thriving. I know it isn't the cheapest day out, but it is under cover, dry, warm and there isn't much else car related going on from now until April. And I can guarantee it costs us a shite load more to be there showing for the four days, flying the OSF flag as best we can......😁......😎.....❤️
