  1. RS200, the group B rally car they finished making just after group B rallying died. Shame, never got to see how it would have faired. Iconic for all the wrong reasons.....
  2. Ooh, perhaps if we are expected to try the cars we have mentioned on the thread, I think I should have seriously lowered my expectations......
  3. Between Col and Ray's "Spares department" , I reckon they could build a few franken cars....
  4. I agree Vista, I too would love to have that Challenger in my garage. Looks and sounds awesome - he passed us only a few miles outside of the NEC on the way in. Very cool car indeed.....
  5. Few random pics as promised.... One being a Tickford Metro....who knew...... And eventually home time.......
  6. Was nice to catch up with you at last notenoughtime and put a face to forum name. nice project you got yourself there....good luck with it....
  7. Was a great weekend people, long, but really good fun. The stand position definitely one of the better ones, plenty of visitors and a top bunch of blokes to spend 4 days with, thoroughly enjoyed it. As above, I will post a few pic later.....

  10. Ladies and gents, all being well, we should have a 6 car stand at this years show. We do try to do our bit in putting the OSF name out there at this huge indoor classic car event. The show spans 3 days for visitors, and 4 days for anyone showing their cars at the show. We appreciate it is a trek and expensive for a show, but it is ten fold for the people showing their cars, so please if anyone would like to show their support, please use the club discount code found on the members page, get yourselves a ticket and pop by the club stand and come and say hello. Cheers.
  11. Ladies and gents. November 8th, 9th and 10th - 3 full days. We have 6 cars this year and any support is always appreciated. It does take up a lot of our time and money (as we start on the Thursday) to keep the club stand going at the NEC, so it is always appreciated when fellow members support us and pop by to say hello. As always we will do our best with the stand and trying to promote the OSF club name A club discount code for tickets, is available for all contributing members. It does seem to be a hard sell this show, but a cracking day out if you can get along. Cheers. Kellye.
  12. Hello Steve. Once home the Mrs nicked them and put them away for my girls to give me as Xmas gifts, so sorry, being the good dad I am, I have not even had a peek yet. Sure they'll be great, but i will definitely let you know......
  13. Who you with at the NEC, might be right near us?
  14. Looking at pics of Ray's motors, they both have the flared front wheel arches, but as with all old Fords, there is bound to be a reason why this one being sold could still be genuine. No two cars a like off the production line back in the 70's....
  15. No camping this time, well maybe the way I was walking, but Crappa definitely being used and abused as intended still, for the moment anyway. Dunton last weekend, for the Capri 50th and at Brooklands this weekend for the same thing, not often you get 260 and 290 Crappies all together for two big gathering. Was great weather and a couple of fun weekends....some random pics from Brookie, even some oldskool aviation.... Obviously all Crapi, so if not for you then do one....
  16. Nice car, looks lovely. Seems to be a theme of joining, then disappearing for a while and coming back. As you say, life takes over. Welcome back.....
  17. Yes mate, same place, same lady. Like a little hotel room from home - I know where it is, she was great, just gave me a key and left me to it - just seemed like a no brainer to go back.
  18. Airbnb - 3 nights £75........
  19. Got the pic of that elusive Ranchero this time, just for you Col if you drop in....and a few other motors that I quite liked....
  20. Also, cracking looking Karmann Ghia that one, what a beauty - bet the GT3 engine makes it a super scary fun ride.....
  21. Unfortunately Rally Pack, my Ma wrote hers off probably about 8 years ago now I reckon. As I said it was black, with black leather, silver/black fuchs etc, really nice example, OIL 911 7 private plate, a very nice cherished car, the odd bit needed doing which she got done as soon as she bought it. She just remembers going to a work seminar type thing, as she did use it a lot as a daily, and then coming round as fire fighters where cutting the roof off to try and get her out. cracked her head from eye socket to ear which took her quite a long time to get over because of nerve damage around the eye and stuff. She paid £13k which at the time was quite a bit, but like i said, it was a really nice car. Unfortunately it put her off of replacing with like for like for quite a while because of the head/face injury, and by the time she decided she would like another 3 or 4 years later, the same car had jumped from £13k to nearer £40k. That was all front end damage, so no doubt someone somewhere did get a nice 3.2 flat six. She has settled for a much newer Boxster now, quick as you like, but not the 911 she had....but she still a live....
  22. notenoughtime - I actually did look at your car but as your wheels now have the black inserts I wasn't sure if you or not, otherwise I would have said hello. The Ron Harris red mk1 Tina, speaking to a friend of mine, find out it is his cousins car and he lives 800 yrds from me. I have lived there 16 years and him a lot longer. Funny what people have tucked away and you just don't know. Was a real nice day, got my Steve Saxty books and just chilled, wandered, and chilled some more. weather was awesome considering September now, all in all a very nice day.
  23. Few random pics from the Dunton show. Was a great show, just wish they could get people in more effectively, but hey ho....
  24. Would only take a few as well, hardened drinking not my strong point...
  25. Hah, be just my luck live 6 miles away and still not make it due to traffic. Cool, we shall all meet somewhere else then. See you there, I will look out for your car.
