  3. if its in front of rad then you need a blow fan, if its between engine and rad you need a suck fan, measure the rad then you will find out the biggest space you have for fan
  4. powder prob wouldnt stick, they run electric current through the item then blast with the powder and the electricity makes the powder stick and as filler isnt a conductor it most likely wouldnt stick

  6. drive shaft is a bit dodgy after his "off", n/s chassis rail is cracked, battery tray is non existant, wheel nut missing and rear lights have clear lenses in so bulbs keep burning red lacquer off and showing white
  7. with smithy, he will still remain the legal owner and registered keeper but I am going to repair and use his blue x-pack mk1 fester! he doesn't want to sell the car and it is just sitting outside looking sorry for itself so, as i need a car for work and meets etc.. while the v8 is under refurbishment, i am now going to be using the x-pack. need some bits before i can get it back on the road so if anyone has some mk1 fester bits please help me, i'll post my wants in the parts wanted room. thanks has to go to karl for this but we are both gaining from this situation, hopefully it'll be back in no time....
  8. thats funny as fook, love it when these modern car owners question the performance of their own cars when they get done by an oldie, i cant wait till my engine is rebuilt and i go out baiting some supercars, the looks you get are priceless
  9. second time someones asked me that, i cant sell without some replacement wheels as i wont have any on the car then, if some one has some interesting wheels that need a clean up for mine that are cheap then i may sell
  10. great gruesome clip i remember watchin the ice hockey on the box once and a defenceman got in the way of a slapshot and got the puck square on the bridge of his nose shattered nose and cheek bones and a puddle of blood similar to the above vid, but the players love it

  20. these are the replica's they do have light scuffing on some but nothing that a minor refurb wouldn't cure, they are 7x15's two have new tyres and 2 are legal but could do with a change, or i have some capri 7x13 pepperpots? i would need 7x13 wheels to replace them with tho, couldn't go any smaller

    nice car jay, when will we see one entered in the osfdc good to see terry making a success in his driving, he's along way from when i used to pop into his garage in cutty's lane to fit windscreens for him. he gone from mild mannered garage owner to international stunt driver
  24. i know he's not a member but it is an old skool ford ad it is rough looking and it gets used on the roads most days, what about mick rogers cortina?
  25. a misfire and the possibitly of piston to valve contact, which is not good at all it only usually occurs at very high revs but worn valve springs may make it happen lower down the rev scale, it's the reason that double valve springs are used on high performance engines
