love it tony, i'll be wantin a race with you next time i see you in the fire up lanes -
what 4 speed box do you have? and what sort of use are you putting the car to? if motorway miles, then 5 speed it, if you want it for acceleration i.e. at the pod and you have a 'rocket' 4 speed box then use that.
-
i am well aware that perry should know this but does anyone else know that he car that richrd hammond crashed is over 21 yrs old? i remember seeing it when i first visited the pod in the mid eighties, it was being driven by the still current owner and builder Colin Fallows, this pic was taken in 1985. who would have thought that the car would still be around let alone setting records!!! and how it was last week, before richard had a go

i got one in the rear line, pedal feels the same as it does normally. p.s. i have an autobox so front or rear line makes no difference to me
-
FPMSL but something tells me your going to be in trouble when yer mum and dad see that
-
you could always fit the line lock in the rear brake line and lock the rear brakes off rather than the fronts being locked on, if going for a burnout at the strip get the rear wheels in the watered area on the floor nail it and as soon as you drop the clutch, jam yer left foot on brake pedal, then your back wheels should be spinning but you are holding car on the front brakes with yer left foot
-
yes i remember that

i think that there should be an online petition sent to the bbc to make sure they do not axe top gear after all the talk of it possibly being axed. maybe we could get the osf name in the news by starting one and getting it signed by everyone on every different car forum we know of, i have no idea how to do it, anyone know? wheres scruffy he would know. lets find out how we can help clarkson, hamster and james may keep producing one of the best tv programmes the beeb has ever made!

i keep trying to reason with mrs d that when she goes trudging round looking in every shop just to go back to the first shop and buy the first thing she saw, why not buy the first thing you see in the first shop you go in? makes perfect sense to me! and she'd save herself a whole day to spend doing something more constructive -
im a mod and i have replied to this thread, i dont view myself as racist at all, if anyone can point out something i've said that is racist then i will edit it as neccessary
-
they say he was trying to break the uk land speed record which currently sits at 300.3mph set in the vampire jet car that he crashed, some also say he had already broken the record but nothing official yet. hope the little guy pulls through ok top gear wont be the same without him.

This Will Make You Think! (WARNING - DISTURBING SCENES)
Hilux replied to Jimbob-Squarepants ©'s topic in EVENT REPORTS
despite all the did he or didnt he stories on there, the driver of the red porsche did live, i've seen the longer version, but has to be said that his fire suit was burned more or less all the way through on some parts of his body so pretty serious burns, the fire crews whenthey arrived extinguished the car and dragged him out laying him on the floor and he was writhing around alot and even managed to stand and walk (just about) before he was flung into a medical van and taken to hospital. -
shite, another V8 capri i buy one and now everyones got one looks superb with the blower have to have a good look round at the next meet

how true jo, how very true back to the real old skool days

absolutely right jimbob, noone will stand together and fight. government need to have their heads pulled outta each others arses and take a bloody long good look at the society they've created, as has been stated, we live under a dictatorship, freedom is being slowly but surely removed day by day, ban this, ban that, can't say this, cant do this..... it can only really end one way, the downfall of the whole country, fighting and riots between diferent races of people will break out, and that will be brought on by the governments ridiculous policies. do they not see that by banning simple factual words such as blackboard, makes it racist by banning it, by distinguishing that you now cant say the word black means that the government are putting the racist element into it, not us! we use the word as a fact, i.e "blackboard" because it's a black coloured board, not because little winston sitting at the back of his school class has black skin! i didnt hear of them banning the phrase whiteboard! surely in order to not be racist you would have to ban whiteboard too white is also a term for the colour of people's skin and so is black, so why do the government ban one but not the other? by not banning it they are being racist by allowing us the refer to whites but not blacks! I for one will be going all out on my exteral xmas deccies this year as i always do, not deliberatly to piss other cultures and religions off but to make my little ones xmas special, christmas is a christian tradition and this is a christian country (for now!) so why not celebrate it? if these moaners/whingers dont like christian traditions then dont fookin move to a christian country. they are quite happy freeloading with christian money! i would just like to state for the records that in no way shape or form, am i religious at all! if this country were to vote our labour governent out, who would we like in? all political parties are the same, non of them has the back bone to put the spirit back ito our land and give the people of this country what we all want, non of them would say " vote us in and as of ** date, the borders will be closed to immigrants, any future immigration applicaions will be taken on there own merits and what these people will bring to this country in terms of desirable trades. like australia, if you do not have what we are looking for then no immigration will be permitted. asylum will not be granted in any case, under international law asylum seekers should stop and claim asylum in the first safe country they come to and as the uk is an island surrounded by safe countries they would have to cross the safe countries to get here, therefore breaking the law." the only party i know of that would deal in common sense is the newly formed oldskoolford political party with primeminister jimbob at the healm but sadly this is more fiction than anything else, we will just have to vote for one of the other politically correct parties that will do nothing to stop the madness that is effecting our everyday lives. stop the world i wanna get off!

yes it was a motorcyclist that died after hitting a truck and about 9 cars i think were also involved in the pile up near jct 9, luckily for me i didnt have to go down M3 till about 8 oclock friday night so were no problems then but accident happened at 1am and didnt re-open till 2 oclock in the after noon. bloke at white arrow couriers in eastleigh told me this , just have to keep an ear on radio and eyes on gantry signs and yes your right they dont always use them when they should and they dont always remember to turn em off when trouble has cleared, ones on M25 still showed delay signs 24 hrs after the accident had cleared a while ago
